As many are aware, I am a big fan of the Matthew Redd series. Just two novels into the series with the third on the way, author Ryan Steck has quickly elevated Matthew Redd to be a heavy hitter in the thriller genre. Personally, I haven’t felt this excited for a new character since Jack Carr’s James Reece from ‘The Terminal List’ series.

I remember that promise to J. B. like it was yesterday . . .

Earlier this year, the book community saw the sudden passing of the great thriller author Ted Bell, who is known for his New York Times Best Selling Alex Hawke series.
